Cheers to the New Year!

December 31, 2020

If you’re reading this, you’ve made it! As intense as this year has been for all of us we’ve come to the end of the road.

I don’t know about you, but 2020 was the year of clarity and understanding. I went to my Vent journal where I wrote a list of goals I wanted to accomplish this year and though I didn't scratch off every goal, I'm celebrating the ones I did.

I'm no longer putting immense pressure on myself to get it all done and beat myself up for not accomplishing everything. Because as we've all witness this year, life can add a mean plot twist without foreshadow.

I’m learning to be okay with not carrying over some of the intentions I’ve had from a previous year. It’s honestly just a matter of prioritizing what's most important to you.

So, lets celebrate the small wins. Let's celebrate the moments we often take for granted. Let's continue to practice gratitude beyond the holidays because we’ve made it!!!

I’ll be bringing in the New Year with this Cran-Apple Cheer cocktail! Now, I’m not a mixologist but I found this drink to be quite delish served warmed. *raises mug*

2 tablespoons TBSP of Cran Apple Cheer

Handful of fresh cranberries

1 part of Apple flavored Whiskey

Honey or Agave

Cinnamon stick

Let your cranberries sit in the whiskey 30 minutes.

Prepare your tea. Steep for 10 minutes.

Add a dab of honey or agave.

Add the cranberries and whiskey and stir with the cinnamon stick.

Enjoy!
