Who Run the World

n March, we celebrate Women’s History Month.
What was once a week long celebration on March 7, 1982 later became a month of revelry.
Thanks to the petitions brought to Congress by the National Women’s History Alliance formerly known as the National Women’s History Project in 1987.
The next 4 weeks are dedicated to honoring the contributions of women in all areas of life. From politics, science, art, wellness and more. During this month, we honor our foremothers Sojourner Truth, Ida B Wells, Dorthy Heights, and many of the unsung women in history who have helped shape our lives today.
You can stand in solidarity with all women this month by wearing the color purple. Purple not symbolizes the celebration of women but royalty, ambition, and power.
I have really enjoyed curating these blogs for the Just Be family. I hope you have enjoyed reading them as much as I’ve enjoyed creating them. Peace, love, and light.
Happy Women’s History Month 💜
